Early Learning Stakeholders

The Early Learning Stakeholders are a group of committed and dedicated professionals representing organizations that work or interact with families with young children all across Lane County.

Our shared purpose is to build bridges between organizations, efforts and individuals as we work across systems toward the shared vision that all children in Lane County are ready to thrive in kindergarten and beyond.

We meet via Zoom on the fourth Thursday of every month August through May, from 3 pm - 5 pm. We hope to create an environment and space for discussion and partnership that fosters:

  • Open communication and connections

  • Staying informed of local early learning issues and efforts

  • Sharing and leveraging resources

  • Avoiding duplication

  • Shared values; a unified front for early learning

  • Address funding barriers, coordinating grants, and other funding opportunities

  • The development and support of targeted outcomes and data collection

  • Ongoing training and professional development

  • Staying current on latest research and tools

  • A focus on the needs of the early learning workforce

  • Advising, educating, and informing the Governance Consortium

  • Informing state and local policy

  • Keeping parent, caregiver, and family voices at the center of our work
